Liquid Sky Lacquer Water Lilies

Hello Lovelies! When Carolyn from Liquid Sky Lacquer sent me Water Lilies, I melted. As an elementary art teacher, I adore the lovely paintings by the infamous French Impressionist, Claude Monet. Monet was fascinated with light and the effect it had on nature, creating approximately 250 Water Lilies paintings in his lifetime. The colors Carolyn used in this polish exemplifies a Water Lilies painting beautifully. See for yourself! ^.^

This is Liquid Sky Lacquer Water Lilies.
This is one of Claude Monet's Water Lilies paintings.
Liquid Sky Lacquer Water Lilies is a "teal crelly with small and medium purple hex, fine neon green sand, medium holo green hex, large green hex, large bronze hex, and large blue hex".
For this mani, I used three coats of Water Lilies and one coat of Seche Vite as topcoat. Application was a dream--the glitter needed no manipulation to look fabulous!
 Water Lilies up close! @.@

Urban Lacquer and The Soap Box Co. present Quantum Foam

Hello Lovelies! I am super excited to share a brand new polish with you that Urban Lacquer is exclusively selling through The Soapbox Company. Brenda sent me the beautifully packaged polish and I am head over heels in love with this one. Take a peek!

This is Urban Lacquer Quantum Foam.
"Empty space—that is, space that contains nothing—no energy, no charge, no matter, nothing—is filled with a writhing, active population of virtual particles that physicists call “the quantum foam,” with bubbles appearing and popping in wild abandon. At the subatomic level, space is never truly empty."  -- Don Lincoln, Quantum Foam, Virtual Particles, and Other Curiosities
"Quantum Foam, a Soapbox Company exclusive, is an unworldly, soft green linear holo polish, which will make your tips glow!  Full opacity is achieved in 2 coats, and looks fabulous alone, or with a glitter topper."
Application of Quantum Foam was flawless. Here I used two coats to reach full opacity and one coat of Seche Vite as top coat.
I was thrilled with the striking linear holo of Quantum Foam. @.@
Pure gorgeousness!
"Experience luminescent nails with this limited edition polish!"

Quantum Foam will be available only through The Soap Box Company and will be available August 1st for $12.95/bottle. I'm always amazed at the end result of great minds coming together and this exquisite polish is proof of the beauty of collaboration!

To purchase Quantum Foam (on August 1st), visit Jo at The Soap Box Company. Make sure you head over and like The Soap Box Company on FB as well as Urban Lacquer on FB!

Have a fantastic day and as always,

HAPPY LACQUERING! =)

Polish Addict Nail Polish Sand & Surf and Happy Hour

Hello Lovelies! The amazing Laura of Polish Addict Nail Polish has sent me two of her stunning polishes and I LOVE them both! I could gush on and on when it comes to Laura's polishes, simply because she makes such a fantastic product. And I will rave about the obvious time and effort she puts into each polish, because every one I have worn has been top quality. Take a look at these two beauties for yourself! @.@

This is Polish Addict Sand & Surf.
Sand & Surf is a "nude crelly with a mix of neon blue and neon light purple and neon purple glitters".
I used three coats of Sand & Surf, followed by one coat of Gelous and one of Seche Vite. Sand & Surf applied perfectly.

This is Polish Addict Happy Hour.
Happy Hour is a light blue crelly with small purple, silver, and blue glitters, and medium glitters in a variety of shapes (stars, rectangles, hexagons, squares, and I think I spotted a circle or two in there) and colors. Happy Hour is a Glow in the Dark polish, easily charged with a regular light, and it keeps it's glow!
I applied three gorgeous coats of Happy Hour for this mani, followed by one coat of Seche Vite! Application was a dream. ^.^
This polish GLOWS incredibly!
I actually fell asleep before my nails stopped glowing completely.
Pretty Cool!
I was BLOWN AWAY by the glow power of this polish!
