Rainbow Polish Taffy

Hello Lovelies! It is very cold and windy here in Michigan today. Hopefully you are all warm where you are! Sooo, I have a funtastic polish to share with you that I have loved from the moment that I first saw it. Can you guess what it is??? (No peeking at my blog post title!) You looked, didn't you?

Ok~I'll show you. It's the delicious Rainbow Polish Taffy! >.<
Two coats of Taffy are layered over CG Kinetic Candy. Pretty & yummy!
The polish applied smoothly with no clumping. I tipped my Taffy bottle upside-down before I began applying CG Kinetic Candy, which helped bring all of the gorgeous glitters to the top of my bottle.
Reflected in Rainbow Polish Taffy "are light blues, aquas, pink, lime green and white. A pretty pastel combination with hex and square glitters."
I used one coat of Seche Vite as my top coat and to speed up the overall drying process.
This polish totally lived up to my dreams! I love it just as much in person as I did in pictures online.

You can find Tonya/Rainbow Polish on FB and polishes like Taffy and many others can be purchased on etsy and bigcartel. Go take a look! I promise you that you'll be happy that you did. =)

Have a spectacular day and as always,

Happy Lacquering! =)

Kelara Lacquers Seaside & Fairy Farts

Hello Lovelies! As promised, I have returned with more polishes from the dynamic duo at Kelara Lacquers, Kellan and Tara. The two masterminds have come up with four collections: The Colors for a Cause Collection, The Double Rainbow Collection, The Planetary Collection, and The Fantasy Collection. Today, I have two polishes from The Fantasy Collection to share with you!

First, let me introduce you to Kelara Lacquers Seaside.
This is Seaside in three coats. This blue. It's absolutely, totally, mind-blowingly stunning.
Kelara Lacquers Seaside applied effortlessly and dried quickly.
I used one coat of Seche Vite as topcoat. I seriously LOVE the holo glitters in this polish!
Seaside definitely "will take you away to the deep blue sea with it's stunning blue base and turquoise holographic glitter." Ahhhh...

As we continue along to the next polish in the Fantasy Collection, "it will sweep you away to a distant land full of fun and whimsy."

Brace yourselves for Kelara Lacquers Fairy Farts! YaY! (This has Kelara Lacquers Seaside as undies.)
I applied one coat to achieve this look! Keep in mind, I did use Kelara Lacquers Seaside as undies. However, I believe that you could reach full opacity with Fairy Farts (hee hee) in three coats.
Fairy Farts (I will never get tired of saying that!!) went on smoothly and dried in record time.
Here is one pic without any topcoat.
For the rest of the pics, I used one coat of Seche Vite as topcoat. I LOVE Fairy Farts!!! This heavenly polish is packed with "purple, blue, pink, and holographic micro glitter."

Have you ever seen a fairy fart? Me neither! But if I did, I'm sure it would look as magical as this polish!

I loved both of these polishes and I am thrilled to have them in my polish collection. They are each unique and beautiful~I highly recommend them both!

Kelara Lacquers Pluto

Hello Lovelies! Today I have my spotlight on the very special team over at Kelara Lacquers, Kellan and Tara. Their polishes are extremely creative and at the moment, they are offering four (yes, FOUR) unique collections in their shop. I'll tell you more after I show you some pics...because you must see this beauty in order to understand my excitement!

Here is Kelara Lacquers Pluto.
This is Pluto all on her own. No undies needed. What a beauty!
I applied three coats for full coverage, but two would have worked.
Pluto applied smoothly and dried in a snap. She was a dream to work with!
I used one coat of Seche Vite as topcoat.
There is no doubt that this polish "sends you to the far reaches of the Solar System with it's gorgeous gold and bronze shimmer." I love the way it glimmers in the light!

Kelara Lacquers Pluto is a fantastic polish all around. She belongs in The Planetary Collection, which looks out of this world!

The other collections Kelara Lacquers has available are: The Colors for a Cause Collection, The Double Rainbow Collection, The Planetary Collection, and The Fantasy Collection. (I'll be featuring two polishes from The Fantasy Collection next!) To purchase Kelara Lacquers, visit their shop here and make sure you like Kelara Lacquers on FB to stay updated on restocks and new polish releases.

The Nail Junkie Cupcake

Hello Lovelies! I have another fun polish to share with you today. And, believe it or not, it has...CIRCLE shapes in it! YaY! I'm on a roll here (no pun intended) and I really don't want to stop. =)

But first, I had a little fun watercolor washing.
I did this watercolor wash with multiple China Glaze polishes. If you'd like the steps of how to do a watercolor wash, check out my Watercolor Wash Too blog post.
More pics...
And now for the CIRCLE shapes! I present The Nail Junkie Cupcake.
This polish has red and pink CiRcLe shapes and a silvery shimmery glitter in a clear base.
I tipped my bottle upside-down before my mani to get more CIRCLES on top and was happy with the results. I applied two coats of Cupcake to my watercolor undies. See the glittery shimmer?
The Nail Junkie Cupcake applied easily (after I used the upside-down method).
I only needed one coat of Seche Vite as my top coat and to speed up the overall drying process.
You can find Aleta/The Nail Junkie on FB and her webpage. Polishes like Cupcake and many others can be purchased on etsy for $10. Take a moment and check her out! Aleta has amazing and personal customer service. =)

I hope you are enjoying the rest of your weekend and as always,
Happy Lacquering! =)

Chaos & Crocodiles Piggy Bank

Hello Lovelies! Happy Saturday to all of you. Do you have any big plans for the weekend? We have had a LOT of snow here in Michigan over the past few days, so I am more than happy to stay home where it's nice and warm. And where I can play with my nail polish! =)

I have a polish I want to show you today that I knew I just had to have the very second I saw it. Why? Well, because it had CIRCLE shapes in it! And, it looked pretty darn pretty, too! This polish comes from Sarey at Chaos & Crocodiles.

Take a peek at Chaos & Crocodiles Piggy Bank and see what I mean!
Here is one Coat of Chaos & Crocodiles Piggy Bank with CG Senorita Bonita undies.
Sarey describes Piggy Bank as "a variety of pink matte glitters with scattered hot pink, light pink, fuchsia, and white glitters, along with a hint of rainbow sparkle in a clear base."
Piggy Bank applied very smoothly and dry time was minimal.
I used one coat of Gelous (which probably wasn't necessary) and one of Seche Vite as my top coat.
CIRCLE shapes, CIRCLE shapes, CIRCLE shapes! @.@
Upclose! "If you look closely, you’ll see small copper circles and two sizes of silver circles, like tiny little coins!"
You can find Chaos & Crocodiles polishes on etsy and you should definintely check out their FB page. Currently, Piggy Bank is not in her etsy store... Just keep checking her FB page for updates on restocks! However, she does have other polishes available at this time.

I hope you are keeping warm (if you're a snow bunny like me) and as always,
Happy Lacquering! =)

Crows Toes Her Goose Got Cooked

Hello Lovelies! I am sitting here, all cozied up by my fireplace and cuddling with my laptop. =) And...I cannot stop staring at my nails!! About six weeks ago, I discovered the AMAZING Crows Toes polishes. The moment I saw Her Goose Got Cooked, I knew it had to be mine!

And looky...it is!!! >.<
Here is one coat of Crows Toes Her Goose Got Cooked over one coat of A England Bridal Veil.
Crows Toes Her Goose Got Cooked applied perfectly and dried quickly. Check out that *bling*.
I used one coat of Gelous to smooth out the glitter and one of Seche Vite as my top coat.
I am a huuuuuuuuuge fan of glitter polish and this one shot up to the top of my list immediately!
I am so so so happy I bought this polish and it's officially part of my collection!

Lauri, the creative genious behind Crows Toes, has a blog that will keep you up-to-date on everything Crows Toes related, including polls and release dates of new polishes. You can purchase Crows Toes from Leah Ann at Llarowe (the only place you can order Her Goose Got Cooked) or from Kim at Overall Beauty. Go check them out!!

I hope you are having a great day and as always,
Happy Lacquering! =)

Red Dog Designs My Funny Valentine

Hello Lovelies! Today I am thrilled to share another new polish from Red Dog Designs' Ol' Blue Eyes Collection with you. And let me just say one thing about My Funny Valentine. CIRCLE GLITTERS!! Yessss! My Funny Valentine is totally packed full of circle shaped glitter (and it's the first circle glitter polish in my collection).

This is two coats of Red Dog Designs My Funny Valentine over one coat of A England Bridal Veil.
I debated on which color to use for the undies and Bridal Veil won. However, the rest were very strong contenders.
OPI Swimsuit...Nailed It!, OPI Just Spotted the Lizard, Orly Au Champange, A England Bridal Veil, Color Club Gingerbread Man, OPI Number One Nemesis
My Funny Valentine is a warm, phenomenal blend of "various red, gold, and black glitters, including circle shapes, with red holo hearts." Did I mention that there are circle glitters in this polish? =]
The polish is packed with glitter and there were lots of holo hearts (no fishing for glitter or hearts necessary). My Funny Valentine is truly Ah-Mazing! I knew I would love wearing circle glitters, but now that I have them on my fingertips, I am IN LOVE with them!!
Both coats of My Funny Valentine applied evenly and dried quickly. Just look at those holo hearts! WoWzers!! I know I went photo crazy, but the holo hearts were playing with the light and I wanted to share how beautiful they look.
I used one coat Gelous to smooth out the glitter and of Seche Vite as a top coat.
Thank you, Red Dog Designs! The red and gold are perfect together in this polish. And, have I mentioned that I LOVE the circle shaped glitters?!? Well...I DOOOO!!!

The Ol' Blue Eyes Collection release is set for Friday, January 25 at 9 pm EST and will be available in the Red Dog Designs Big Cartel Store. Fullsize bottles will be available for $8.75/each. Make sure you like Red Dog Designs on FB so you stay updated on restocks, new polishes, and to view lots of gorgeous Red Dog Designs polish pics.
